Blueair Classic 500/600 Series SmokeStop™ Filter
Thorough removal of gaseous pollutants
Designed to absorb todays common gaseous pollutants like Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), traffic exhaust, smog, odors, smoke and airborne chemicals through high amounts of activated carbon. Ideal for use in rooms where constant removal of such pollutants is required.
Genuine performance, superior quality
Unlike generic look-a-likes, genuine Blueair replacement filters are specifically designed to maintain superior performance over time and ensures your warranty remains intact.
Replacement is easy
When it's time to replace your filter (about every six months), start by unplugging your air purifier. Lift the lid and remove the top filter and then each of the side filters. Insert the replacement filters on the sides first and then the top filter. Replace the lid and plug back in. Easy.

What Blueair models are compatible with this filter?
This filter is compatible with the following Classic family models: 501, 503, 505, 510, 550E, 555EB, 580i, 601, 603, 605, 650E and 680i.
How does this filter differ from the Classic 500/600 Series Particle filter?
Classic SmokeStop filters contain carbon which is extremely efficient at removing both particle and gaseous (odors, exhaust, smoke odors, and chemicals) pollutants from the air. Whereas Classic Particle filters are highly efficient in the removal of particle pollutants like pollen, dust, mold and viruses.
Are Blueair filters HEPA?
No, Blueair filters are less dense than traditional HEPA filters, allowing our air purifiers to be quieter and more energy-efficient. Instead of HEPA filters, we use a combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration that we call HEPASilent™ technology to achieve the same level of filtration efficiency - with less energy and noise.
