Do I need distilled water to operate my steamer?
Simple answer: No. However, if you use distilled water you won’t need to descale the steamer. Our Cirrus 2 has a coating on the inside that prevents residues of minerals and limestone to get stuck in the machinery. If you use your steamer in an area where the water is hard, it is a very good idea to use distilled water as much as possible. If you’re uncertain of the water quality, we recommend that you ask around- or use distilled water to be on the safe side.
Can I add my own perfume to the steam water?
No, please don’t. It may harm the steamer from the inside and affect the steam quality and the machine parts of the steamers.
How many water tanks (Cirrus 1 and 2) will I be able to fill in 1 bottle?
1 bottle is enough for 6 water tanks.
Does the Steam Water contain perfume?
No. We are working on scented steam water, but up till now, we haven’t succeeded in creating one that doesn’t affect the steam quality and the machine parts of the steamers.
